Uplay not detecting Air-conditioning Valhalla installed past Epic game launcher

Has anyone ran into an issue where you install AC Valhalla through Epics launcher and when y'all go to commencement the game Uplay says the game needs downloaded and installed?

If I delete and reinstall the game via the Ballsy Launcher the Uplay volition see it until I reboot my estimator.

I don't take Ac Valhalla, but I practice take Anno and Immortals but I don't encounter that problem with those.

Typical troubleshooting questions:
- Do you have whatever other uplay games on EGS to examination?
- What happens when you lot uninstall and reinstall Uplay instead?

I don't take AC Valhalla, simply I do accept Anno and Immortals but I don't come across that trouble with those.

Only uplay game on EGS I have. Never ran into this with Steam. I'll try reinstalling uplay if redownloading the game doesn't piece of work.

FYI I call up I encounter the issue. When Epic installs the game it installs information technology to a binder named AssassinsCreedValhalla. When uplay installs it installs it to Assassins Creed Valhalla. I tin't come across anywhere to edit the folder name in either launcher. Steam has the spaces when information technology installs games. I have no thought how to fix this?

No prob - if you lot ever have a game storage drive that you move between systems, or if you reinstall windows or your launcher, that comes in super handy.

It'due south usually present in some form on the various launchers, sometimes buried in the options though.

I've had this problem with Origin games on Steam not detecting Origin running. Multiple launchers is a problem, and information technology's not just people whining without reason.

Yeah just use Playnite or GOG Galaxy if y'all tin can't find out why they aren't playing nice. I oasis't touched Playnite only GOG Galaxy 2 works amazingly well, even for Steam games I retrieve.

I would merely apply Uplay to install/launch the game. Not sure if you fifty-fifty demand to have Epic Store running if launching through Uplay, but i know you lot do if you install Origin games through Epic Store.

Y'all don't. You need EGS running for GTAV though (Rockstar Launcher).

EGS is the worst launcher, so in one case it ties the game to your ubisoft account, I would just manage the installs through ubisoft connect instead.

This experience has washed nothing but brand me dislike the epic launcher even more.

If you can, with Ubisoft games, buy information technology from Ubisoft, well unless it's on the launcher that yous like, but you will still need to play information technology on the Ubisoft launcher.

The reason to e'er get it on some other launcher is there are usually crazy deals with Ubisoft games (they brand money with DLC and MTX on both multiplayer and single player parts of games), and those deals ordinarily happen at the same time Ubisoft have a deal on those games as well so they stack making them even cheaper. When that happens and y'all are ok with getting it on the all-time deal situation, only claim the game, pair it with the Ubisoft launcher (usually happens automatically) and only download information technology from the Ubi Launcher, or not if that mega stacked deal was on the launcher y'all adopt.
