I take an Android phone. Several months agone, I ordered a product from a company, and when the product shipped, they sent me a text. I read information technology then deleted information technology every bit usual, but then I received the same text message once more, and once more, and again. I contacted the company and asked them to stop sending me the erstwhile message, but they said they only sent information technology in one case, and never again. It'south become credible that my phone is sending me that same message over and over once again, like a broken tape, as if the message somehow got stuck in the MMS system. Every time I delete it, a while later I receive it again. Is this a virus, that is causing this? Information technology'south never happened with any other message, just this 1. Can this be fixed somehow?

Well there are versions that are a virus/malware, but I can't say if the one on your device is or isn't for sure. It is possible the check is giving a false positive.

That said, with the problems you are having, it does sound like information technology is a bug. Were it me, I would probably back up all personal stuff (photos, videos, music, contacts, etc.,) to a computer, google business relationship or deject account and then "Hard Reset" the device. Only that is me. :)

I recently installed an anti-virus app on the phone, a "top rated" app named AVL. I did a scan of all the apps, and one of them, a built in app, was labeled equally having a virus, the name of the app is com.android.os. AVL asked me if I wanted to uninstall the app, just I can't because it was built in to the phone. The only options are to force a stop, disable, delete the cache data or delete the actual app data. The note AVL gives me nigh this app, in blood-red letters, is Trojan/Android.Downloader.be[exp]. Could this be the virus that is causing the problem? And since I can't uninstall the app, is my only option to reset the phone?
