Have you checked that that task is executable manually, and can you still open that program or file normally without the startup task in place? If the file is corrupted by the update, it wont work at all, so you might need to reinstall it or download it if it is a 3rd party software or file.

Hi EliFarmer.
It is a script that needs to run, and it does run's if I execute it manually, so the file is not currupt.
The issue is with the task scheduler not running it.

Can you try to add a new Task with same settings and remove this existing task?
Is this possible for you?
Sincerely yours,
Vijay A. Verma @ https://excelbianalytics.com

Hi E for Excel
It's that same thing. If a delete the old task and create a new one and reboot the workstation, the task is put in status "Queued"
if I then stop the task and execute it manually, it run's.
So everything point to the task scheduler is not running tasks at startup in WIndows 10 1803. But I don't know how to report this as a bug.

Hi
Same probleme here. I hope it will be fixed in June patchday.
In 1709 and earlier builds the taskscheduler -> run at startup was running fine.

Hi Shamu35
I asked about the same problem on twitter (https://twitter.com/ElmholtS/status/1006107072071700481?s=17) the other day, and @mniehaus answered that this is a known issue and is scheduled to be fixed in an update later this month.
I will try to get this confirmed from MS support, but not quiet sure how to contact them regarding enterprise support.
So i guess we just have to wait.
Br Soren.

Hi Soren
Thanks for your response.
After an Inplace upgrade from 1709 to 1803 the scheduled task is still running fine on startup.
It doesn't work after a fresh installation. Hope this will be fixed soon. We can not deploy machines with this build.
I tried a few things for fixing it by myself but had no success. Please tell me if you could solve the problem.
